As a member of the Army Medical Corps, she combines her surgical expertise with a commitment to providing acute, trauma, and critical care in combat support field hospitals and on the far-forward resuscitative surgical fronts in both combat and noncombat zones, advancing military healthcare systems in deployed settings.

Her service in the U.S. Army has been integral to her professional journey, blending technical excellence with the values of Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity, and Personal Courage—integrating them into both her career and life, whether on or off duty.
